Our Story
Named after the titan of intellect.
Koios (KOY-ohs) is named after the Greek titan Coeus, who embodies intelligence, foresight, and the spirit of questioning. These are the qualities we cultivate in every student we work with.
The UK admissions landscape has changed rapidly. Admissions tests evolve year on year, personal statement formats have shifted, and Oxbridge interviews moved online during the pandemic. Yet most traditional consultancies are staffed by people who went through the process years or even decades ago, and charge thousands of pounds for the privilege.
Koios Education was founded by current university undergraduates to offer something different: guidance from people who navigated the system recently, with first-hand knowledge of what actually works today, at a price that does not exclude families on ordinary incomes. We combine up-to-date experience with data-driven methods to give every student the best possible chance.

We believe that a student’s background should never determine their access to high-quality admissions support. That is why we created the Beyond scheme.
Through Beyond, Koios provides all of its core services — personal statement reviews, mock interviews, subject masterclasses, and application strategy sessions — completely free of charge to students on free school meals, care leavers, young carers, and estranged students.
